Marta García-Fiñana is a Reader in Biostatistics with expertise in multivariate and longitudinal statistical modelling and stereological techniques and their applications in Biomedicine. Marta is interested in the development of personalised risk models to predict the likelihood that an individual will develop a given disease or condition using their demographic characteristics and clinical history. Her recent work involves the use of biomarkers collected over time (longitudinal biomarkers) to develop discriminant models in the areas of diabetes, epilepsy and cancer. Marta has programming skills in R.
