Sarah O’Brien - Infection
Sarah O’Brien is Professor of Infection Epidemiology and Zoonoses and Director of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Protection Research Unit in Gastrointestinal Infections. Her research interests include unravelling the epidemiology of gastrointestinal infections, understanding the contribution of acute infection to chronic illness, foodborne illness and food safety and the role of the gut microbiome in health and disease.
