Robert Christley is Reader in Epidemiology with interest in infection epidemiology, particularly related to zoonotic pathogens. He co-leads the Epidemiological Approaches theme of the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Emerging and Zoonotic diseases and is co-investigator of the One Health Regional Network for the Horn of Africa, which unites human and animal health research in Ethiopia, Kenya, Eritrea and Somaliland. He is particularly interested in the interface between human and animal health, including the impact of (human) behavior on infection dynamics.
