Wiebe van der Hoek is Professor of Computer Science and Head of the School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science. He is interested in formal methods and logics for Artificial Intelligence. One area that is closest aligned with the MRC Fellowships is combining logic and probability, and his work that integrates logical representations with numerical constraints.
