Dariusz Kowalski is Professor in Computer Science. His expertise is in design of algorithms and analysis of processes raised from executing algorithms. Specific research interests are in networks, communication and scheduling algorithms, and distributed algorithms run by a large population of entities. He has worked on analysing and optimising migration and infection processes based on models coming from evolutionary biology and from computer science. His experience also includes fault-tolerant and secure aspects of computing and communication
