Gabriela Czanner is Lecturer in Ophthalmic Statistics. Her primary research interest is in developing statistical methods to analyse complex (or large) datasets that include imaging data with the goal of improved diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. The methods that she focuses on are: discriminant and classification analysis, data reduction, spatial statistics for clinical images, multilevel modelling, signal-to-noise estimation, validation of diagnostic tools and method of adaptive comparative judgment. She is developing these methods on data from ophthalmology.
